Groove On UP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designed to provide inspiration and opportunities to creatively enhance lives of fellow humans using arts & music. We focus on specialized, empowering and uplifting projects such as Song for a Hero that pays tribute to the unsung Hero with an inspiring song and/or music video. We love to reach out to veterans, children, the elderly, the physically challenged or anyone that needs an opportunity, a boost of positivity, empowerment, and inspiration. JC DeYoung loves to help people Groove On UP. She understands and appreciates the innate gifts of a person or organization and highlights inspirational stories via songwriting, videography and photography. Her background includes management, digital arts and marketing, website publishing, a BS in Electrical Engineering, an MBA, and an extensive career in the world of building systems for justice, public safety and the military. JC’s hobbies include drums and percussion, pickleball, hiking, biking, skiing, ping pong and more. She founded Groove On UP as a way to integrate arts and music into endeavors that inspire all of us to “take it higher.”

Joseph Allen Wooten (keyboardist, writer, arranger, producer, educator, motivational speaker) is a 3-time Grammy nominated artist who has been the keyboardist for The Steve Miller Band since 1993. He is also the brother of bass player Victor Wooten, (5 time Grammy Award Winner) Roy Wooten, (5 time Grammy Award Winner) ( Futureman, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones), and Regi Wooten.
In ’93 he became the keyboard player/vocalist for the legendary Steve Miller Band, playing large venues around the world, and where he has remained for 18 years. When not on the road with the Steve Miller Band, Joseph is a part of an elite group of hand picked musicians called Freedom Sings, organized by the First Amendment Center in Washington D.C. presenting a multi-media experience celebrating The First Amendment and free expression. He also serves as keyboardist to his brother Victor, in between breaks from his extensive travels with Steve Miller.
When he is not traveling city to city, Joseph can often be found speaking to college students, high school and middle school students, about character development, self esteem, self respect, and personal growth using his own life experiences as examples.

Dom Famularo has been traveling the globe preaching the gospel of drumming for over 40 years. An intense performer, Dom is one of the most respected solo drum artists in the world, with a career built solely upon his unique skills as a drummer, educator, author and motivational speaker.
He has presented master classes and clinics around the globe in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Columbia, Venezuela, Uruguay, Peru, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Russia, Israel, Serbia, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Costa Rica, Honduras, Puerto Rico, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Canary Islands and South Africa.
Steve Schuffert is an amazing talent with a heart of gold. He can make you laugh with his spontaneous musical rhymes and make you cry with his heartfelt, passionate renditions of both his original and classic songs. He spent 20 years in Nashville, TN where his original songs have been recorded by legendary George Jones, Kenny Rogers & T Graham Brown. He has played on stage with Stevie Wonder, jammed with Jon Bon Jovi, played in Glen Burtnik’s band (from Styx,) and has played large arenas with the Godz on the Metallica tour. He played several instruments with B.E. Taylor in the annual B.E. Taylor Christmas Show. The Steve Schuffert Band toured Europe for 20 years. Today, Steve plays solo (and duo) acoustic shows in Park City, Utah for special events in venues such as the Waldorf Astoria, Montage Deer Valley and many more.
